Whether you have visited Israel many times or this will be your first time, the Israel Seminar is an unparalleled and inspiring experience. You will not only see Israel; you will come to understand it.
This is an incredible eleven days of exploring Israel and its narratives with a special Melton Educator. You will study Biblical, historical, and contemporary literary texts among the landscapes and locations that inform them. You will engage in a conversation between past and present as you travel through history and the land. In addition, you will have a unique opportunity for an in-depth look at critical issues facing Israel and the Jewish people today. The Israel Seminar is as interactive and pluralistic as the rest of Melton.
2008 Dates:
October 22 - November 1
December 22 - January 1, 2009
The price is $2959 and includes accommodations, two meals per day, land arrangements, security, and all educational aspects of the program (airfare not included).
