When it comes to sex, sin and sorcery, you can't beat Jewish texts. We'll start with the Genesis texts that caused later Jewish thinkers to question the gender of the first human being and to speculate on Adam's sex life, read a midrash about his "other wife", and study a sampling of later rabbinic comments on the nature of women before turning to contemporary mystical writings on the spirituality of the male-female sexual relationship.
